I read that when …
I read that when Kurt Cobain was writing this he was trying to make a rip-off of a pixies song in the way that the song is very slow and then suddenly becomes very fast and strong and then jumps back to being slow. Kurt said he always thought he should have been in that band. Or at least a pixies cover band. Evidently this jumping from slow music to fast music and back again became the basis of many grunge songs. Especially nirvana.
Not to say Kurt Cobain wasn’t creative. His lyrics rule!

Sorry guys, I don’t want to sound like a douche but I really don’t like this song. I tried but I just can’t seem to. I think I just hate the singer, or the fact that I just can’t figure out what he’s saying. Even the guitar I find is not that good or even catchy.
