I saw Brubeck get …
I saw Brubeck get started in the mid-50s — he was making progress mainly because of his unique approach to jazz piano and Desmond’s art — but, what put his quartet on the map was when Joe Morello joined up — he added a dimension that was missing until he came on the scene. great drummer.
